
If for any reason you are not able to run paid advertising, this is how you can grow your page without it. These also work 100% for profiles.

1️⃣ 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗼 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀.
Your logo or photos should be stellar clear.
Ban blurry or low-quality photos. Avoid stock images.
Update your contact information.
Your bio should give your target audience a strong reason to follow you. We know you don’t take nonsense. That shouldn’t be in your bio.
Also, take it easy with the titles. Do not just slap on titles without letting us know how you can serve.
Show us how you can serve us and we will follow you if after going through your page, we see that your content is not one to miss.
Here’s what mine currently looks like – 𝗮 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝟭𝟬𝘅 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀.

2️⃣ After optimization, then comes the next action which is 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, not just content creation but content marketing.
Content marketing is a much more strategic approach to creating content.
You are not just sharing to educate us. You are including your call to action, making us comment and share.
You are mentioning influencers who can get you more visibility when they comment or like or share your post in the form of shout-outs, or just even just mentions.
For this to work best for you, buy their products or services, attend their events and talk about it.
Such posts are not easily ignored. They could respond. That is visibility for you.
Instead of pitching your products or services, you are providing truly relevant and useful content to your prospects and customers to help them solve their issues.
Share high-quality, engaging content that is relevant to your audience. This will help attract organic followers and increase your page’s visibility.
3️⃣ 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆.
Their followers see that your thoughtful comment which added value to the original post. This helps you reach a wider audience without paid advertising.
If you are still saying ‘thank you for sharing’, ‘nice one’, ‘I got value’, ‘beautiful’, all those auto comments on facebook, change your ways today or don’t grow.
4️⃣ 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀.
I remember my consistency with sharing quality content on Headstart Africa Community w/ John Obidi earned me a shout out from Mr John Obidi.
I got 100+ that one day. I had people in my DM who wanted to work with me. The visibility was massive.
Share content that helps people solve problems.
5️⃣ 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲.
Giveaways call in every type of audience so you want to be careful here to attract your desired audience.
How? Select a winning criteria that will only attract QUALITY AUDIENCE.
If you want people with plenty sense, you can ask them to write and you will be selecting the best entry.
Don’t worry if many do not participate. Here, you want quality over quantity.
Keep providing value to the people who joined and nurture them.
6️⃣ 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀
Creating a full-length video can be overwhelming. Luckily, we now have reels that even non-followers see.
You can create short tutorials, behind the scenes, or tips and tricks.
Do not just entertain, entertain and educate so you are attracting people with plenty sense.
Facebook pushes reels really hard.
7️⃣ 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.
You can collaborate to host events a perfect example is what Mr Emeka Nobis and Mr Ibe Nnamdi are doing with the Dominate in Business Tours.
You can collaborate to host virtual events, do giveaways, champion community projects, and so on.
8️⃣ 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲.
Make a list of friends and family who have influence and think of ways to get them to talk about your page.
What can you do for them that they will love and decide to talk about on social media without you even asking?

While I still have my reservations about using the ‘invite button’ because 99% of the time, people called in through it like and never engage, you can still use it to invite active people you think will be interested in your page, not everyone.

This should have come first. Overall, the key is to be active and engaged on your page, and to provide value to your followers through interesting and relevant content.
